The citizens of New Zealand have been getting crunk off of all the alcohol a lot faster than before due to the 4.2% increase in alcohol in our beverages. Despite the rise in 2016, the latest level is the third-lowest in the last 16 years.

New Zealand Citizen are drinking more often then ever, Its getting stronger and stronger everyday.

Beer was up 17 per cent in 2016, while there was a 4.2 per cent increase in the amount of alcohol on our shelves.

There was enough alcohol for each adult New Zealander to drink the equivalent of two standard drinks a day, Growden said. This is 500ml of 5 per cent alcohol beer, or two glasses of wine per person.

The article I read is about the increase in alcohol consumption, it states that we New Zealanders have been drinking higher percentaged beer and more often in the passed year. Beer has raised in stock in wholesales at 4.2 percent and because of that the demand for alcohol is growing. New Zealanders drink enough to have each adult in the country to drink 2 standards beverages a day, which is about 2 glasses of wine and a 500ml beer of 5 percent. That is what I got from the article.
